A new Jellypark card :o)

I've been very busy in my craftroom this week and I have quite a few cards almost finished for my Etsy Shop. They take me quite a while due to the amount of hand stitching that takes place, oh I do love to stitch on my cards :o).
I used one of my favourite Jellypark images. Butterfly Girl is the name of the image but I am calling her a fairy for this card.
I have used some glorious My Minds Eye papers as the focal points on the card and a rather plain background card. The Jellypark image has been coloured with alcohol markers. I have added some wire antennae with little beads on the end. The frames have been stitched in place with sequins and beads and the buttons have also been stitched. I used 2 different silk threads to hand stitch the zig zag on the decorative corners. Co-ordinating pearls were added to each corner.

Jellypark Magazine Feature

The wonderful world of Jellypark is coming to the next edition of Complete Cardmaking Magazine. Claire the genius behind Jellypark and the Design Team are very excited at the prospect. We have all made cards which have been sent to the magazine to be photographed, how cool is that?
This magazine has a free cd with every issue and Claire has been very generous with all of the images she has given.
This is the latest copy of the magazine
and here is what will be on offer at the end of July.
Can't wait to share the cards with you :o)

Challenge 22 - Jellypark Friends - Washi Tape/Office Supplies

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well on this fabulous Friday :o).

I'm here in blog land to announce a new challenge over at the Jellypark Friends Challenge Blog and this time round we want to see washi tape or other office supplies on your project.

What a cool idea for a challenge it really got my mind working overtime.
I used some green tape, staples, brads and paperclips on my card along with the Jellypark bird house digi, which I really love. I didn't have a grass die and my cricut is still boxed up from my last craftroom tidy up so I just made my own lol. I love the fresh green colours they are so summery.

Claire has also created the cutest new release image, it's a little girl dressed as a nurse and she's available in the Store from today. Pop on over to the Challenge Blog to see what the amazing DT have made with her.

That's all from me for now so Happy Crafting everyone.

Challenge 21 - Jellypark Friends - Girly Girl

Hello there crafty peeps. I am absolutely full of cold so I really hope that this post makes sense ;o) You know that feeling when inside your head is kind of liquified well that's me this week. I'm having to triple check everything I do.

Enough about me, it's challenge time again over at Jellypark Friends Challenge Blog yipee and we have a lovely theme.
We want to see really girly projects.
What a cool theme, most of the cards I make are really girly girl cards. I find Claires images lend themselves perectly to that kind of thing, so why not pop on over to the jellypark store to stock up, there's an instant download feature now so you can have what you want there and then, cool or what?

Jump on over to the blog to see what the lovely DT have come up with for the challenge inspiration.

I get to showcase a new release image this time round and it's this super cute mermaid :o)
The papers are all from a range available over at Jessica Sprague. I coloured with promarkers and copics and used some stickles to glitter up where the scales would be. I used some beads, ribbons and gems to decorate it. I also put some pearls in the corners, would have been rude not to really :o) and I created my own sentiment digitally with a pearl frame around the wording.

Does any of that make sense lol, this is where I find out that none of my links work either he he.

Sending my usual huge ((hugs)) over the pond to our lovely, gorgeous Jennifer why not link through to her blog and leave her some love too :o)

Enjoy the challenge guys and hopefully by the next post I'll have gotten rid of this silly cold.
Happy Crafting.
