New release and Challenge time over at Jellypark Friends

Hello and Happy Friday, my goodness the weeks are flying by aren't they.

I am super excited about this post, I have been working on my new release card for ages but haven't been able to share it until now. As soon as I saw this image I kind of fell in love with it :o)

After lots of playing around this is what I came up with.

He is available => here <= and what a joy he was to colour.

I haven't made a shaker card for yeeeaaaarrrsss so it was nice to do something a bit different. I digitally drew the magnifying glass and created the background paper. I then printed and cut around the magnifying glass, stuck some acetate to the inside and punched some little dragonflies out to place behind for the shaker effect. The image has been coloured with promarkers.

I was so pleased with how it turned out, it isn't always the case that what's in my head translates to card but in this instance it did. Whoop :o)

We have another new release for you over in the Store, Claire does spoil us doesn't she. It's a wonderful rock pool image.

I love rock pooling with my kids, it brings back so many happy childhood memories for me.
 It is available => here <= .

We also have a new challenge over at the Challenge Blog and the theme is Celebrate Summer, you never know it might have a positive effect on the weather.

Hope you all have a splendiferous weekend.
Happy Crafting

New Challenge Time over at jellypark Friends

It's Challenge time over at Jellypark friends Challenge Blog and the theme this time round is a masculine one. It's all about the boys and men in your life.

It's Father's Day on Sunday and I have another card to blog using a new release image from Jellypark, but for this post, I'm sharing a card I made for my son.

I used the Medal Boy image and some digital embellishments which I printed and cut out. I also created some mini pencils which I found over on this blog, so cool but I didn't have cocktail sticks so I used kebab sticks. My daughter is so in love with them that I had too make lots more for her.

Happy Crafting
Mel :o)
