Oh my goodness I made a Christmas Card and it's only September

Hello there, it's been a while since I blogged but I just had to share the Christmas card I've made this week.
I'm never this organised, honestly, I'm usually in the craft room the week before Christmas with glitter, die cuts and a huge mess around me. I promised myself last year that I'd start earlier.
When I saw the cute new dress up images from Jellypark I wanted to start colouring them up straight away. It was so much fun. Here is the first one.

I'm almost finished another one which I'll blog about as soon as I get photo's. There are 5 images altogether and they are all equally as cute as each other.

Post Pals UK Card 2

Hello, happy Friday :o)

I'm back to show my next Post Pals card, this one is going to an older child hence the theme of the card.
This image isn't one of the ones Claire is giving away over on facebook, but it is so appropriate for the Post Pal that I just had to colour it up and use it anyway.

I also added a couple of mementos into the envelope from his favourite football team.
I hope he likes it.
I'm so happy that Claire introduced me to this wonderful organisation, I am thoroughly enjoying making the cards and gifts for the kids and hopefully getting some happy mail will brighten their day.

Post Pals UK

Hello,
Just a quick blog post to tell you all about Post Pals UK.  On facebook there is a new group set up by Claire Keay of Jellypark. Claire had the wonderful idea to team up with Post Pals by generously giving away a set of 6 images to everyone who participates in sending cards and gifts to the children on the Post Pals site.

Simply ask to join the Group and once approved, let Claire know you would like the first image. Once you show a picture of your first make and tell us which child you are sending it to, you will receive the 2nd image and so on.

My first card went to a right little cutie called Tie D and here it is. Inside the card there are even more cheesy monkey jokes :o)

As you can see I also made a little door hanger for him. Hope he liked them and that they brought a smile to his face.

I said it would be a quick post as I'm in the middle of making a card for another Post Pal child. I'll post up pictures once it's done.

Challenge time over at Jellypark Friends and a couple of sweet new releases

Hola, happy Friday, it's half term yipeeeeeeee, I love it when my kids are off, I don't get much done and the craft room door tends to be shut quite tight but we have fun.

Over at the brand spanking new Jellypark Store we have a couple of lovely new releases. We also have a new challenge over at the Challenge Blog and the theme is Chocolate and/or cake.

I made this cute Mother's Day card with one of the new release images.
I've had those sweety embellishments for ages so it was lovely to be able to use them on my card. I coloured the image up with my promarkers. The roses are made using a dienamics die. I created the sentiment to match the dp.

I hope you will pop on over to see what Design Team B have created for this challenge, you won't be disappointed.

Have a great weekend folks.

My second Jellypark post of the day I'm on a roll :o)

Hello again, I've been a busy bee in the craft room lately.
When I saw this fabulous new release image from the Jellypark Store I couldn't wait to make a card with her.

The theme over at the challenge blog is buttons and bows, I've splashed out on this card and it has both lol. The beautiful image has been coloured with my trusty promarkers and I hand stitched some lines onto the background before sticking her on. The lace has also been hand stitched in place along with the button. I added a sweet little tag and some felt flowers. I really enjoyed making this card. The Jellypark Design Team have also been busy so pop on over to the blog for some inspiration.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

New release time at Jellypark Friends and a new Challenge announcement

Happy Friday, I hope you are all well on this cold January morning.

It's been one of those weeks for me that I can't wait to see the back of so I spent some relaxing time in the craft room yesterday.

There is a new challenge over at the Jellypark Friends Challenge Blog and the theme is Buttons and Bows so we would love to see projects that have either buttons or bows on them or if you're feeling extravagant both lol.

There are also two brand new release images which are available from the Jellypark Store today and here is the first one.

Isn't is sew sweet, pardon the pun lol. I coloured it with promarkers and embroidered around it. I then cut around the edge with pinking shears and die cut some coordinating buttons and silver scissors.

It certainly meets the button side of the challenge theme, not a bow in sight for this one but I managed to incorporate both elements in my other card in the post above :o).

Pop on over to the challenge blog where there is a wealth of beautiful makes from the wonderful Jellypark Design Team.

New year starts with a new project and new Jellypark Challenge

Happy New Year everyone and I really hope all of your crafty dreams come true this year.

I haven't been creating as much lately, sometimes other commitments just don't allow but I miss it so much and have decided to make more time.

I wanted to do a tutorial for Jellypark and realised that I needed a new version of my Blog Challenge Calendar for 2014. I've been using one of these for quite a while. I like to have the information right in front of me in paper form as I don't always have access to the internet from my craft room. It has been a really handy way for me to keep track of everything.

I have had a wonderful couple of days creating the tutorial for the jellypark store it's free to download so pop on over there for a look :o)

I used a fantastic 2014 calendar download also one of the new releases Resolution List digi from Jellypark for this project. I also used some of my own digital creations which I have decided to sell in my Etsy shop as an instant download. The notelets I created for my Papercraft Essentials magazine project have proved to be very popular and I hope you like these ones just as much :o).

Here is my make and as I said the tutorial is available for free over at the Jellypark Store.

My Blog Challenge Desk Calendar also fits the theme for our current challenge over on the Jellypark Friends blog which is "New beginnings", it features a calendar, a resolution list (which I won't stick to) and also it's appropriate because I am starting the new year by being bold and finally selling my digital artwork myself.

Happy Crafting Folks
